Unfortunately we said good bye to Penn Jillette last night on the Celebrity Apprentice! Here is a quote from the Celebrity Circuit:
Magician Penn Jillette was fired after his team, which also included Clay Aiken, Dayana Mendoza and Lisa Lampanelli, lost the Success cologne challenge. The mild-mannered Jillette left with equanimity, telling the camera as his car sped into the New York night that he enjoyed his time on the show, even this last episode.
We congratulate Penn for making it this far! Wonder what his next TV appearance will be?
Completely surprised by the news, Penn and Teller were submitted into the Las Vegas Hall of Fame. The ceremony was held on March 22nd for the two magicians who still think of themselves as “visitors” in Vegas. They’ve been in Vegas performing magic almost all of their lives, here is what they had to say:
In Teller’s view, “we’re both East Coast guys, sort of theater guys,” so receiving the UNLV honor ranks as a “huge surprise,” he says. “But even here in the middle of the desert, with the bright neon lights, we’re doing real art — and making real money,” he observes. “So I think we have to accept the fact that we’re Vegas guys.”
The magic due have been through everything together. As best friends on and off stage, DVDs, TV appearances and much more, Penn and Teller will go down in magic history.
