So in today’s video it’s St. Patrick’s Day in the United States! I took my magic to the streets and impressed some very green people! It is amazing what you can do with the power of your mind and a deck of 52 Bicycle playing cards.
Founding father of Free Magic Live and our good friend Jay Jay recently posted five tips (plus a bonus one) on when performing magic for women. Jay really nailed it with this one! Check out what he had to say.
It’s All About The Fun!
Women, no matter what status they are in, love to have FUN. You want to be that FUN guy. If a women sees you as fun she will always love to be around you. Keep your magic fun.
They Love Magic!
Women are emotional beings. They love feelings, stories, fantasies, touch, connection. Don’t be scared to try a really powerful deep story using a powerful magic trick.
You Are Totally Unique!
Very few people have seen much magic live. So remember whatever you show them they will remember it and remember you. Compared to every other guy they meet, you are different kind of guy.
Never Be The Dancing Monkey
Be careful not go into routine/performance mode too much. If you do, the girl will see you as just an entertainer rather than a guy with value or personality. She wants to see you; not just the magic (refer to tip 5). Show her enough to get her interested but not too much.
Remember a ‘Trick’ is just a Trick. The Real Magic is ‘YOU’
Don’t hide behind your magic because it works. The magic should be a part of you. You want to showcase your ideas, thoughts, stories, cool effects with them, but remember it just enhances your personality. You want the WOMEN to remember you and how you made her feel, not just remember the trick.
BONUS TIP – Never Be Afraid To Ask A Women Out!
Let’s face it, there are many beautiful women around and many that will make you go WOW. So if you want to see them again, don’t be afraid to ask them for their number or Facebook. Think about it, you have just blown her away with some amazing magic, shown her that you are a cool person to be around plus you’re a fun guy. You will be surprised when you say, “Hey I have to run, but why don’t we catch up again for a drink OR why don’t I invite you to this cool party? Here put in your phone number and I’ll text you OR put in your Facebook details and I’ll message you.”
It’s always hard jumping out of your comfort zone, but don’t worry it all pays off ten fold!
